Public high school club team squash

SquashWest is passionate about offering squash as a winter sport for middle school and high school students (grades 6 – 12). While the teams are aligned with Acton-Boxborough, Concord-Carlisle, and Lincoln-Sudbury, we integrate youth into teams from all of the surrounding towns.

Squash is a growth sport, with over 60 major universities having both men’s and women’s teams, not to mention its inclusion in the upcoming 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Please reach out to us for more information.

SquashWest will serve as the home base for the co-ed teams representing Concord-Carlisle, Acton-Boxborough, and Lincoln-Sudbury areas. These high school teams will practice 3 times per week in preparation for the 10 scheduled matches they will play (between Dec. 10th and Mar. 1st) against teams from Brookline, Boston, Lowell, Needham, Wellesley, and more.

Open houses will be held for all interested on Saturday Nov. 16th (1-2:30pm), Sunday Nov. 24th (1-2:30pm), and Sunday Dec. 1st (12:30-2pm). Team practices will start on Dec. 2nd.

Teams will practice 2 weekdays per week – court time for 1 hour will be between 4 and 5pm – and there will be Saturday afternoon practices where all teams come together.

Most of the players are developmental players – we are introducing the youth into a fun sport that they hopefully play for a lifetime. We do have a ‘track’ for those very serious players, but we also take a lot of joy in building skills, enthusiasm, and camraderie amond the youth and the teams.

Coaching these teams will be world-class international squash pros Paul Ansdell (CC) and Gary Gargan (AB/LS), each of whom brings with them a wealth of experience from years of coaching across various levels of organized squash.
