Belkys is a native of Ecuador and is a certified Level 1 US Squash Coach. She has coaching experience in Ecuador and in the United States. She has worked at Tufts University as assistant coach for men’s and women’s team and was promoted to a Head Coach of the Women’s Team. She has held positions at Northeastern University, Newton Country Day High School and Squash Pro at Andover Youth Squash Association (AYSA), Learn Squash and at the Maugus Club in Wellesley Massachusetts. Also, she has volunteered at SquashBusters
Belkys played on the Professional Squash Association Tour (PSA). She held a highest world ranking of #84 and was one of the top players of her country for several years. She has represented her country internationally, having won two Bronze Medals at the South American and Caribbean Games and also, has played for her country in the Pan-American Games.
Belkys plays for Squashwest in the Open 4.5 division in the Massachusetts State League and is part of Team Boston “A” in the Women’s Howe Cup.
Belkys is very excited to bring her experience and passion for the game along with a tremendous enthusiasm to share with all our current and new members of SquashWest!
